1:00 PM 1:45 PM

  • FB Live www.facebook.com/jesswatersartsoundkc

Stitch Meditation, created by Liz Kettle, is a silent process of simple running stitches with intuitively, quickly, pre picked fabrics and a preloaded threaded needle. You be lead into a breath work practice and a mindfulness topic for the session. The bell will signal beginning and we will stitch silently together for a short period of time, typically 15-20 minutes. The bell will end the session, and. you’ll be left with an affirming thought. Total time, with directions is 45 minutes.

What you need:

  • no larger than a 5 inch square of fabric. You can have a small scrap as well to sew onto the square.

  • a loaded needle with thread (you can use embroidery thread but it is harder to get through the fabric and we want ease.

Prayer Mandalas

Prayer Mandalas

Contemplative, or Centering Prayer, is a state of openness and silence, where we allow the words of spirit, regardless of spiritual or religious path, to guide and direct us with soul whispers. In this workshop, you'll be lead in a contemplative practice, where you will be encouraged to exhale and let go, opening to yourself to your intuitive voice, which can often be the voice of spirit. We will do reflective writing and creating of a simple, intuitive mandala with the use of markers, Sharpies, watercolor and paint pens on circular watercolor paper. You'll be encouraged to work intuitively, in nonjudgement and allow yourself to flow in creating.

This session is limited to 8 participants, however if sold out, please email at info@sacredpathwaysart.com so we can schedule another session.

Event One

Doing anything tomorrow around 2 before the Chiefs Game? How about getting rid of the old things from 2023 and waltzing (123.123) into 2024 with affirming intention. I'm doing a Facebook Live POP UP event on the Jess Waters Art.Sound.Design page NYE at 2 pm. Watch or participate, either way. We will be working in mixed media collage (paper, found objects, old book pages, painted papers, words, pens, paint pens, even bring a needle and thread along. You will need plain paper for writing down a couple things in the process and crafting your 2024 affirmation mantra.

Want even more intention setting goodness? Download my Law of Attraction workbook (it's short and sweet) or purchase the Intention Setting Expressive Mandala course at my website (which includes the Law of Attraction workbook) for just 20.24 (cute huh?). 🙂 I will be leading my own version of a burning bowl ceremony at the beginning as we say thank you, adios to 2023.

Hippi New Year!
